Happy hour at Mill Road was especially Happy yesterday! We had friends from far and near come to enjoy the great food and live music. Mill Road is such a neat place to play. It can accommodate everyone. There were people celebrating the end of a long week with their co-workers, AND families enjoying the food and the atmosphere. Russ brought along plenty of percussion instruments to encourage "audience participation". The result was a finale that featured 6 guest musicians from Vooheesville who really rocked the house!
Again, it is a testimony to the spirit of REAL RADIO. This band just wants to, as Cindi Lauper would say, "Have FUN". Our music continues to change. We're playing stuff that we like, but we're also playing stuff that YOU like, too. No reason we can't do both. With each outing we are weaning out the things that fail to inspire and bringing in new music. Last night, new songs included some Blondie and some blues. It's all good....see you in December! -- mb
